Anticipated Financial Aid Refund Dates

If you are eligible for a refund and your financial aid is fully in place (including completion of a master promissory note for direct loans, if necessary) by the start date of the term, you can expect a refund from your financial aid proceeds by the following dates:

Anticipated dates include Express Two term processing. 

Dates provided are estimates only and can vary, especially in the summer term, when some financial aid can be delayed until as late as August.

Refunds are calculated when the funds actually arrive. You can monitor the arrival of funds in your online student account statement on My.SUNYEmpire. When aid funds arrive, the credit will display on your account statement as paid, not pending. You will receive an automated email from Student Accounts when your funds have arrived. If you are due a refund, it will be processed within 10 business days and sent to you via your selected refund preference with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. thereafter.
