Withdrawals

Within MySUNYEmpire, students may drop a course(s) during a term add/drop period. Visit 1Stop Student Services for additional information about the process.

Withdrawing from one or more courses after add/drop does not withdraw you from the university, only from the relevant course(s).

The decision to withdraw is an academic one, but it does have financial and financial aid consequences.

Students who are considering withdrawing from one or more courses are expected to be familiar with all information below.
