New York State Good Academic Standing Requirements

All students should be aware that New York state financial aid programs have academic requirements that must be met for continued eligibility.  Good academic standing is comprised of satisfactory academic progress, pursuit of program and grade point average requirements. Notes:

• Please note students who received a New York state financial aid award prior to summer 2010 must meet the 2006 satisfactory academic progress requirements.
• Students receiving ADA Part Time TAP who were first-time recipients of New York state financial aid during summer 2010 and thereafter must meet the ADA Part Time TAP standards.
