Transfer Admissions

Transferring to SUNY Empire is simple. Use the same application as new students, but make sure to maximize your transfer credits. We accept credit from previous colleges, military experience, workplace training, and more. Learn how to get the most out of what you’ve already earned and take the next step toward your degree.

Returning Students

If you’ve been away for more than three years, you’ll need to submit a new application. If your break was shorter, your my.sunyempire.edu account may still be active. Log in to check, or reset your password if needed.

Need help? Email admissions@sunyempire.edu or schedule an appointment with our reenrollment coordinator.

Nondegree Students

Not ready to commit to a full degree? Take a course or two for career growth, personal enrichment, or to transfer credits to another institution. SUNY Empire makes it easy to enroll as a nondegree student, so you can start learning on your own terms.
