Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration
Earn your degree in Business Administration and have a strong foundation to go into
any field you desire.
Total credits for Core: 4 Introductory level credits and 28 Advanced level credits
SUNY General Education
7 topic areas and at least 30 credits in SUNY Gen Ed courses are required. Specific
requirements will be based on the catalog term you enroll in. Your assigned Mentor/Advisor
will provide specific guidance regarding meeting all requirements for your degree.
A minimum of 45 credits in Advanced level studies is required for all Bachelor’s degrees:
28 Advanced credits are in the Allied Health Core courses (listed above)
17 Advanced level credits remain. You can choose Advanced level electives from many
options — your advisor will help you choose your electives based on your goals for
your degree.
Options for elective courses include:
Prior Learning Credits for professional certifications, Healthcare Management, Healthcare
Economics, General Education courses, pre-requisites for PA programs such as Genetics
and Biochemistry, and courses in Adult Learning Theories and Learning Styles.
Your prior transcript credits will be applied to the 120 Total Credits required for
this Bachelor’s degree:
75 credits at intro level - Associate degree plus any Gen Ed courses that are needed
to meet all of the above requirements
45 credits must be Advanced level
