Learning comes in all different forms. Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) helps you leverage what you’ve learned throughout your life experiences — volunteer or professional work, training, military experience (the list goes on!) — and apply it toward your degree.

Think You Don’t Qualify? Think Again.

Many students underestimate the value of their experience. Don’t shortchange yourself. You may have more college-level learning than you realize.

Let us help you uncover hidden opportunities to earn credit and move closer to graduation faster.

Individualized Credit for Prior Learning

The Individualized Credit for Prior Learning (iCPL) process helps you earn college credit for knowledge and skills you already have. Working with your mentor, you'll identify both formal and informal learning — such as work experience, seminars, and training programs. They, along with the Office of Prior Learning, are here to help you uncover every possible iCPL opportunity available to you.
