CAARES hosting virtual webinars: "Neurodivergent in College: Navigating the Transition from High School"

Empire State University's Center for Autism Advocacy, Research, Education, and Supports is hosting workshops in collaboration with the Saratoga Springs Public Library titled "Neurodivergent in College: Navigating the Transition from High School." 

The four-part virtual webinar series will occur 7:00-8:00 p.m. via Zoom on May 7, May 21, June 4, and June 18, tackling different topics related to the transition from high school to college and how to access different resources and support systems. The series is geared for neurodivergent high school students, students with disabilities, their families and supporters. 

Session topics include: 

  • May 7: Thinking about college? Overview of the high school to college transition
  • May 21: Advocacy, Accommodations, and Supports in College
  • June 4: Academic Success
  • June 18: Health and Emotional Well-being
