Gloria "Joanne" Kramer, Ed.D., is a professor and the program coordinator for Teaching English to Speakers of Other
Languages (TESOL) inthe School for Graduate Studies. She has worked as a teacher for English-language learners and Spanish education and served as a principal and English as a
New Language (ENL) chair in grades K-12. She was also an adjunct for Molloy University
in the TESOL program. Her areas of expertise include bilingual education, second-language learning, the Latino diaspora in the U.S., and the mental health of ENL students.
Mark Abendroth
Professor
Mark Abendroth, Ed.D. is professor of education in the School for Graduate Studies. He served as program coordinator of M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction (M.Ed.) and the M.A. in Teaching (MAT): Adolescent
or Middle Childhood Education. Mark has taught courses in social studies methods,
clinical social studies, and educational foundations for the MAT. He has taught courses also in the MA in Adult Learning. Additionally, he has authored two books, co-edited two books, and published several articles.
