The Key: Your University Email
Your university email is very important as it is how the university communicates important information to you. The university uses emails to send updates regarding university registration and payment deadlines, academic support workshop, events happening at the university, and more.
Please login at www.sunyempire.edu/email and check your university email regularly for important updates.
The email address and password to access your mailbox will be the same as your SUNY Empire login (firstname_lastname### @sunyempire.edu). Further information regarding Microsoft 365 for Students - Getting Started.
If you would like to request to forward your university email to your personal email account, or update your personal email address on file with the university, navigate to SUNY Empire Student Email Forward Settings.

Term Deadlines
Spring 2025 15-week Full Term and 8-week Express Term 1 (8-week)
- Courses start Monday, January 13th (15-week term ends Friday, April 25th and 8-week Express Term 1 ends Friday, March 7th)
- Orientation deadline is Tuesday, December 31st
- Registration is OPEN - deadline is Sunday, January 12th
Spring 2025 8-week Express Term 2
- Courses start Monday, March 3rd and end Friday, April 25th
- Orientation deadline is Tuesday, February 18th
- Registration is OPEN - deadline is Sunday, March 2nd
Summer 2025 15-week Full Term and 8-week Express Term 1
- Courses start Monday, May 12th (15-week term ends Friday, August 22nd and 8-week Express Term 1 ends Thursday, July 3rd)
- Orientation deadline is Tuesday, April 29th
