Center for International Education

At Empire State University, we believe education should be accessible to everyone, no matter where you live. That’s why our Center for International Education partners with institutions around the world to bring our flexible, high-quality programs to students outside the United States.
We currently offer programs in:
- Tirana, Albania
- Prague, Czech Republic
- Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
- Athens, Greece
- Thessaloniki, Greece
- Beirut, Lebanon
- Eskişehir, Türkiye
Most of our international students are working toward undergraduate degrees. No matter where you study, your SUNY Empire degree is the same as the one earned by students in New York.
In Athens, Prague, Thessaloniki, and Tirana, students attend in-person classes and have access to onsite SUNY Empire offices for support. In Lebanon and the Dominican Republic, students take part in a blended model that combines short-term residencies with online learning.
Like all SUNY Empire students, you’ll work closely with a faculty mentor to plan your degree, choose courses, and complete learning contracts. Our international programs are supported by faculty from across SUNY Empire and, when needed, by local academic partners. Whether you’re studying in person or online, experienced professors are here to support you throughout your academic journey.
