This program is designed for working professionals and those entering the field, offering flexibility, financial support, and a pathway toward CASAC credentialing.

Priority for scholarship funding is given to those currently working in the field, but all eligible applicants are encouraged to apply.
OASAS APSP Scholarship
Eligible students can receive significant financial support while completing their degree.
What’s covered:
- Tuition (after financial aid is applied, excluding student loans)
- Mandatory fees
- Individualized Credit for Prior Learning (iCPL) fee
- Up to $500 per term for books
Eligibility Requirements:
- New York State resident
- Enrolled in the B.S. in Addiction Studies program
- FAFSA completion
- Separate scholarship application completion
- Must reapply each term

This is a “last-dollar” scholarship, meaning it covers remaining costs after grants
and other financial aid (excluding loans) are applied.

Enter ECPTROAS to waive the $50 application fee. - Apply for the Scholarship
After admission, request and submit the scholarship application by the deadline by emailing oasas.scholarship@sunyempire.edu.
